So much chatter about the end

In my mind I would like the world to end as we know it. One of hate and others hating others for what ever reason they want to hate another. My mind would be happy with that kind of thing ending. The end to bad things and people hating others with out getting to know my brother or sister to see the love that can be, that should be, that would be. 
The end to all the badness in the world. To start something new the beginning of a world of just simple love and caring for the other guy and respect for self and you kinship with the world.

Why not talk about the positive things that could happen not all the bad. Do we or you understand that sometimes good things come from the end of something else? Yes many times that is just the way it works. When people change habits they end a life long struggle with ways of thinking, or acting. They take on a new away of thinking and of being.  This is what a network marketer  or any one must do. Read and be with people who have a positive out look so that you can have reinforcement with the new way you want to be. In a chat on a board or article on Linked in today the conversation was one about thinking out of the box.  In essence that article was a conversation about change. 

Changing the way we see things in order to do something different or to make a change due to a need. However the first step is to see that you are thinking in a closed box.  one in which there is a left and a right a top and a bottom.Well though out our life we have been trained to think just one way, like everyone else.  well everyone is not able to fit in the same box.  In truth we are all born different. So why do we have to think and do just like everyone else. The point were you start to think out of the so called box is when you see or have a need to do something different. One reason for this is the old ways are not working and you have to see that the old ways are just getting you the same thing or at the same place as the day or week or year before. When you see that this is going on. Then you come to see that you need to think in a different way, or to act different. In these times  traditional jobs are not providing the stimulation that I need or others need. Sure Money does pay the bills and buy things which some of us need.  

Jobs today are just not cutting it with most of us or there are only a few jobs out there and to many people looking for the same kind of job. So we come to the net and seek what and how to build and form ideas that are out of the box or out of the regular way we have been living and functioning. The net is a wonderful place full of ideas and other people who show that you can see and do things in a different way. I think we are all searching for something different from what we have known in the past. just like all the talk about the end of the world. Well I am here and I am writing this blog in the so called last day of the world ending and it seems the same to me. it would be nice if it did change or end but for the better. the reason I write this blog is that I have a need and I see some of the same needs in other people out there, for a way to do something different and on their own terms.  

But we must define the terms for ourselves, and for our futures. and yes for the future of our children and their children. Things do have to change but we first must see the need for this end of how things were. and due to all the chatter about the end it should bring to light that in truth we all are really looking for that change to come. It time now to step out of our box or to jump to a larger box or to re create the shape of our own personal boxes. We can change things in the world at large and in our own personal spaces. you know it is said that to make change we do have to change our self first. with this personal change it brings about change with in others as well. yes you do have to work on self first. Then the world will end with each and every one taking that first step with in self and then each other. How can you help any one else until you feed yourself. Then when you are feed you can help feed others. thinking out side the box is food for thought!

Positively Bookish!!

 Hi, well I am back to finishes  my thoughts on the book theme. Oh yes you know it! From time to time I will be adding a new book or two at you here for you to read if you have not read it and you can always give me suggestions too. Since I love to read. I got that love from my father and my sister they are both gone now but when I was a child and a teen we would exchange books once we finished one and we would have a little conversation about that.  The love of reading really started with road trips and comic books. That was fun, and a wonderful time in my life.  Now understand this, they are only suggestion.  I have read them and I think that  they are great!!! Like tony the tiger would have said GREAT!!  Ok so on with the show!
 There are two other places I want to lead you to for the books, the first one is Goodreads.com. This is a library site, or it is also known as a Social cataloging website, it is like any social media site but it is for books, it lets you or me come there and list the books we have read and ones we want to read. The site also has a very large database of books.

Groups of people go there and start friendships with others to share what books they have read and reviews of some of the books the site also has polls and some author snapshots so we can get insights on some of the new debut author. you can also buy books from them from most of the bookstores, Barners & Nobles, Audible, Indigo,Abebooks, Powells, Half.com and Google play and some libraries. they list the prices too.
 I have added it to my timeline on my face book page so that I can share it with friends I have there and see who reads and it fun to find out what kind of books they like.

  Now I know, I know what you are thinking what does all this have to do with the wonderful world of network marketing or sales or working online. Well, you want to brand your self and you want to build your network right and then too who is all about work. You have to have some fun. But this is a constructive play. Business people all over mix a little play with a little business right? So if we go with that concept that is what we are doing. Branding building and having fun. I see it as a win win. Smile

The other place I want to introduce you to is Actionablebooks.com. This site is for books that are for the business or the employer and or leaders who want to suggest books for their down lines or students, employee. It is all about the most popular business books and it gives you summaries  of each of the books.
 The site is a really nice site because they also have interviews with the best selling authors each and every month for free, the other interesting  part about the site to is that they have workshops. The workshops are a premium feature however if you are interested in developing your team  with the core message from some of the business books this workshop will do the trick. they say that it will increase productivity,loyalty and retention to the leader.  I would say too that if you are a growing leader you could use the workshop for yourself to develop and inspire yourself.

You can also subscribe to a newsletter as well. The books are broken into categories, like self management, professional maturity,leadership and entrepreneurial thinking. You can buy the books from the site they redirect you to Barnes& Nobles, Amazon and !ndigo.

I am all about the books

Hi and Welcome again to the 2nd posting of this new adventure of mine.  But this post is also about my love of books, and today I will chat a little about  Audible. This is the place that I get most of my books. As I get older (my eyes get tired) and I travel back and forth to work; I listen to books more in this kind of platform  because like everyone else I multi-task (driving, drinking coffee, books and Audible fits with this format. The online Audible bookstore has a wonderful selection of books authors and titles to select from. Most of the books I read from them are fiction, romantic, and motivational books and mystery. I do also like and purchase books on how to do things there as well.Audible is owned by Amazon. So you know you can trust them for purchases.

What I like about the site is that you can hear samples of the book and read what other people have said about the books( reviews). Most of the formats are there also, ipod,mp3,PDA,Mobile phone,(iPhone,android and blackberry)GPS systems. The fact that they are owned by Amazon you can even get the books on kindle. I use my ipod and it downloads in seconds. The files on Audible are compressed so to make the download faster and take up less room on your hard drive or you ipod memory. And I find that it does not mess with the sound quality that much. and I prefer the memory and hard drive space over a little sound quality. Hay! You can't have every thing can you. Smile.

One of the books I want to suggest to you regarding motivation and working online is Building Your Networking Business by Jim Rohn. A great book and fun to listen to. This book will start you off on the right foot as far as how to think when you are working with a direct sales company or what we call a network marketing company like the one I am in Worldventures or others like Amway, Melaleuca Legal shield, Herbalife.
These are just a few of the hundreds of Network marketing company or MLM out there. Amway I use to work with them has been in business for over 53 years,Melaleuca another company I also worked with has been in business for over 27 years and the one I am working with now is Worldventure and they have been in business for 7 years now. Great company. I will talk about them in another post. But we market travel related products.  Working with network marketing company they are  big on having mentors, and I would agree with them as well. Mentors help to show us and motivate us to do more to push us and to show us how to view something in a different light or mind-set.

Motivation is key in my life and with this blog I hope to motivate you as well. So that is why I started with that book it is for the network marketer or sales person.If you believe you can you can.Positive thinking or a positive attitude is so important in business and in life. And it all starts from with in ourselves. We can be our own worst enemy by how we think, if we have negative thoughts we will say or think that something can not be done.

So we have to learn how to get these negative thoughts out of our minds and out of the way. There is a very old saying that state this; There is little that can withstand a man who can conquer himself by Louis xiv.  So we have to change how we think and how we look at the goals and the desires we have set for ourselves and the only way we can do this is to reinforce a new thought pattern with books, mentors, and others who think the way we should to get things done.

 Positive thinking is the key to  my success and your success. So get your hands on some books like the one from Jim Rohn  listed above. He was a great speaker and he past recently, he gave us  a lot of wisdom and tools to fuel our minds and our thoughts.

 Finally if you get the book from Audible you get to hear his voice and his wonderful humor and positive and excellent spirit. He really makes you think.  Smile.

Welcome to NetNewb

Hi and welcome to Netnewb! The place for the new people to the net!! Here you will find all the things that I find interesting, things that relate to direct sales and motivation, products to use, services that will help you.  You are the new person that has just come online to find what you need to find. My concentration will be on how to work on the net and products and services with a lot of motivation thoughts and ideas mixed in.  So sit back and learn and grown with me. I will hit you with some terms along the way.

 Also let me say this to you as well, Netnewb  is mainly for the new person, however it is also for these of you who like to learn  So come back often and see what is new and what you may have seen before but may have forgotten. This for me will be a collection of motivation. Smile.

 My style of writing will be simple for what I have learned with doing converscity.wordpress.com another blog I write. There are others from different parts of the world who don't get the written word very well so to make it simple will help them learn.
